The rains have arrived in HOT, dusty, Tete - Mozambique.....transforming the dull grey into luminious greens, washing away dust, smells and "tempers". Our senses once dulled - have become vibrantly alive! All creatures great and small are giving Praise for new beginnings.......

met this young man and his pet chameleon the other day and he reminded me about something I had lost.........spontaneity, enthusiasm and amazement in the little things life offers us! May we all find them again, starting this weekend!

lets keep on "trucking" no matter how "rusty" we feel..........

it's up to you really.........Do you see ruins, degradation and urban decay, or interesting colour, light and beauty? mmmmm is this heat getting to me??

you can find some really strange things whilst walking in the bush around here......We happened upon a burial site with bleached skulls, skeletons and food offerings......

The gold panner and her son. Very tough, back breaking work in the hot Tete sun and sometimes only yielding 1 gram of gold per day if lucky.....Of course, this doesnt help the rivers and the surrounding countryside..............

trying something new combining my photography and oil painting.......there is lot of texture here which you may not be able to see in the photo.......what do u all think? Blessed Sunday to all.........
