found this old fisherman down by the river. So pleased to share his story in broken English. Full of smiles despite missing toes and fingers. We have so many blessings, may we too have a smile and a story to share despite all.......

something I am loving about living in Tete is meeting so many new people and nationalities. On the last count there were over 54 different nationalities represented here. the hazy, surreal atmosphere on the river is due to all the burning and clearing of the gorgeous countryside surrounding Tete city........ Life is not always what it seems to be........ Happy weekend all......

BOROMA CHURCH MISSION - This magnificent Jesuit Church, in a rather crumbling state, was built at the end of the 19th century and I think, it's by far Tete's most interesting feature. Being only 30km's from the city, it's a place I often visit and snap away.....
