busy learning about the different uses of my amazing camera.....all the fancy words, like aperture, f stops, exposure, how to learn to adjust shutter speeds, maximum and minimum depth of field..etc.....will get there eventually. This is the bark of an African stat-chesnut tree, and found the colours amazing. My homework as u can see was using manual exposure and doing close ups......

took my 2 little ducks (now identified as whistlers) to visit with their friends next door ....I tied blue ribbon around their necks to identify them - well....after much ducking and diving and having tremendous fun - alas - the ribbons were lost!! The result........decided to leave them with their friends, will go and visit them often :)

the province of Baobabs and anthills........... this was during the rains, its all turning golden now, and not much leaves on the baobabs :(

my gorgeous little ducks are very well........still not to sure what they are?? They have such distinct characters........one loves to be handled but the other runs in the opposite direction. This is obviously the friendly one :)

.........she sells sugarbeans in the hot Tete sun, but still has the energy and humour in finding me awfully funny :)
